The other day I was driving past the Oostvaardersplassen nature reserve in Flevoland The Netherlands when I spotted a herd of Red Deer. So I turned the car around and stepped out to take some pictures with me new Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports telezoom lens (on my Nikon D800). When I stepped down the levee I saw a Fox in between the piles of freshly mown grass. I took some pictures and decided to wait and see what the Fox would do. It looked around a bit and then started walking towards me, stopping every now and then to see what I was doing. I was able to take some nice images before the Fox walked into the reed again. Back home I was impressed how the lens performed, especially because I used it handheld in the shadow of the levee at the end of the day.
